Enjoy peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views at our beautiful holiday cottage. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, paragliders, families, and couples seeking countryside tranquility alongside those who wish to explore the area with easy access to Brighton (12 miles), the beach at Shoreham-by-Sea (4.4 miles), Horsham (13 miles), Chichester (19 miles), Arundel and Arundel Castle (9.7 miles) and Glorious Goodwood (18 miles) and Hickstead (8.4 miles) not forgetting to mention the much photographed High Street in the market town of Steyning (1.1 miles) with it's Saxon Church of St Andrew and St Cuthman and the beautiful Medieval Church Street.
Nature and Adventure Just Steps Away
Our holiday cottage is situated on our family run farm and offers direct access to famous walking routes such as the 100 mile South Downs Way which travels from Winchester to Eastbourne, The Monarchs Way (from which the cottage takes it's name) which is the route that The Monarch's Way is a 625-mile (1,006 km) long-distance footpath in England that approximates the escape route taken by King Charles II in 1651 after being defeated in the Battle of Worcester. It runs from Worcester, via Bristol, Stratford-upon Avon and Yeovil to Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex and is just an amble away from the Downs Link, allowing guests to immerse themselves in beautiful landscapes and enjoy memorable countryside adventures.


Prime Countryside Location
Step out the door onto the South Downs Way and Monarchs Way walking trails which lead you to Chanctonbury Ring, Cissbury Ring, Devils Dyke and many more well known beauty spots. Situated in the heart of the South Downs with panoramic views and tranquil surroundings. The farm is a mixed farm with cereal crops and livestock and horses.
Monarch's Views
Monarchs Views was built in 2021 to a high standard and comprises:
Downstairs: large kitchen/dining room with stable door and a downstairs WC.
Upstairs: Bright and airy sitting room with a top end sofa bed, double bedroom with a king sized bed and spacious shower room with WC.
Outside: parking for 2 vehicles, fully enclosed terraced garden with patio area to the lower terrace and grass to the top terrace. The garden has stunning views over the South Downs to the front and rear.


Garden
The cottage has a fully enclosed private garden on 2 levels comprising a seating area and a grass garden all bounded on one side with a chalk downland wild flower bank.
Family-Friendly Comfort
At Monarch's Views you will find spacious and welcoming accommodation which is perfect for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
The fully enclosed garden makes it perfect for BBQs and a place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beautiful Sussex Countryside.
A cot can be provided by prior arrangement.

We are always happy to advise on places to visit and eat, with some local country pubs, excellent food in Brighton and Hove and Shoreham and Horsham.
